Dr. Arletha McSwain Serves As Panelist for the Quality Matters Webinar- Remote Realities: CHLOE 5 Survey Results and the Latest Thinking from Online Leaders

On Thursday, August 13, 2020, Dr. Arletha McSwain, HR Senior Trainer Specialist-Education Technology and Title IX Coordinator, served on a panel of online leaders to share lessons learned from spring semester 2020 and strategies for the fall 2020 semester. The webinar with over 1,000 attendees highlighted the difference between quickly assembling “remote learning” and providing true online learning. Quality Matters sponsors The Changing Landscape of Online Education (CHLOE) project.  This project looks at the structure and organization of postsecondary online education in the U.S., as it becomes increasingly mainstream.   “It was a pleasure serving as a panelist and publicly applauding B-CU’s  strategic and successful campus wide  efforts to leverage our existing online infrastructure for an effective emergency preparedness implementation.,” said Dr. McSwain. Dr. McSwain also serves on the CHLOE Advisory Panel which is comprised of online higher education leaders.
