At B-CU, I serve as Student Government Association Chief Justice, representing students in judiciary matters, Vice-President of the National Association of Black Accountants, aiding young African Americans on furthering their careers in the accounting and finance fields, and lastly, I am a member of Black Males in Higher Education Think Tank, which seeks to enhance the male population on the campus of B-CU and in the Daytona Beach community.
My experience at Bethune-Cookman has been one like no other. I’ve received such an invaluable experience, that I’m confident I wouldn’t have had at any other school. From the countless relationships, rigorous coursework and numerous post-graduation opportunities, B-CU has truly changed my life.
I am additionally very thankful for the Embassy of Hope Scholarship, which has been a major contributor to my collegiate education. With it, my housing, books and tuition were covered, allowing me to focus solely on my educational development.
Upon graduation, I plan to attend graduate school and obtain my Certificate of Public Accounting.
