Cynthia M.A. Butler McIntyre to Deliver Keynote at Education and Social Justice Conference
As a motivational, educational and religious speaker, Cynthia M.A. Butler-McIntyre has inspired thousands over the course of her career. She lives by the precept taken from 1 Peter 4:10 which states in part that “Each one should use whatever gift he/she has received to serve others.”

Butler-McIntyre has a legacy of committed service and dedication to the children and employees of the Jefferson Parish School System in Harvey, Louisiana for more than 30 years. 
She served with honor as the 24th National President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Her distinguished record of service includes leading the sorority through its centennial celebrations, bringing worldwide attention to the sorority and its work globally. 

During the 2010 Essence Music Festival, she was honored by Essence magazine as an "Outstanding Woman of Service" and then featured that same year in the December issue of the magazine. In 2011, President Barack Obama tapped her to serve as his appointee on the Board of Trustees of the Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation. 

Mrs. Butler-McIntyre’s distinguished service and outstanding achievements have been recognized by numerous professional, civic and religious organizations on the local, state and national levels. Cynthia M.A. Butler-McIntyre will serve as a keynote speaker during the Education and Social Justice Conference: A Multidisciplinary Framework.
