Jarren Davis is a recent graduate of Bethune-Cookman where he competed as a Division I defensive lineman on the Wildcat football squad. Davis' ambition was recognized on and off the field.

The Jacksonville, Florida native was selected to join the NASCAR Diversity Internship Program as an intern in the multicultural department. His talents also led to him being chosen to be a member of this year’s Pit Crew Development Program. Davis competed in the third annual NASCAR Drive for Diversity National Pit Crew Combine at the NASCAR Research and Development Center in Concord, N.C. in May. The four-hour skills competition tested athletes’ fitness and agility with crew member drills and live pit-stop simulations.

Davis is the first dual member of the NASCAR Diversity Internship program and pit crew program. Through the pit crew program, NASCAR Drive for Diversity identifies and develops multicultural and female athletes that possess the skill, ability and attitude to be a pit crew member in the NASCAR national series.
