B-CU Environmental Science Chair Delivers National Webinars on Sustainable Human and Environmental Systems Foundations

Department Chair of Integrated Environmental Science Dr. Michael Reiter and colleagues offered the first of three Sustainable Human and Environmental Systems Roundtable national webinars, requested by Ira Feldman, Founder and Managing Director of the Sustainability Curriculum Consortium, to approximately 50 registered participants from across the country. Titled “Part I: Background of the Roundtable and Sustainable Human and Environmental Systems (SHES) Foundations,” the webinar was recorded and can be viewed online here. The second webinar in the series, Part II: SHES Pedagogical Approach and Examples, was offered by Roundtable colleagues on February 20, while the third, Part III: Administration and Evaluation of SHES Programs, will be offered by Dr. Reiter and colleagues on March 13th. 

The Sustainable Human and Environmental Systems vision is to promote the emergence of societies that facilitate, enhance and sustain indefinitely the well-being of human individuals, their communities and their environments.
