Alumnus Carl Reeds Accepted to University of South Florida's Master's in Criminology

Carl Reeds, a fall 2018 Criminal Justice major, Pre-Law minor, from Cherrylake, Florida, has been accepted into University of South Florida's Master's in Criminology program for fall 2019. He is awarded a full tuition waiver and $6,000 assistantship per year. Reeds is paired with Xavier Burch, a 2016 B-CU alumnus, who is a Master of Arts graduating senior at USF, and will begin the PhD program for Criminal Justice at USF next semester.

Reeds was also a 2018 Tom Joyner Foundation Hercules Scholar. He participated in numerous projects including "Examination of the Communities That Care Model Toward Understanding Juvenile Risk of Recidivism," and was the vice president of the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice.
