Film Documentary Presented by B-CU Psychology Program, "Lies Uncovered: The Truth About the Arthur G. Dozier Reform School for Boys" by Duane Fernandez

B-CU College of Liberal Arts Psychology program will showcase the documentary, "Lies Uncovered: The Truth About the Arthur G. Dozier Reform School for Boys" by Duane Fernandez on Wednesday, March 27, 2020 at 11:15 a.m. in Heyn Memorial Chapel at B-CU. Students from Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, English, History, and campus wide are invited to view the film documenting interviews relating to police brutality, the story of Trayvon Martin, and other occurrences across the state of Florida that affect youth.

Fernandez’s career includes capturing scenes of civil unrest as well as major events throughout the country. His documentary, "Lies Uncovered The Truth About The Arthur G. Dozier Reform School for Boys,” was one of four Black History films chosen for viewing at the Orlando Urban Film Festival at Universal Studios AMC Theaters in 2018. He is the owner and founder of Hardnotts Photography and Hardnotts University, a non-profit, with over 30 years of experience mentoring at-risk youth.
