Bethune-Cookman University Moving Forward

WESH 2 News covers the celebratory press conference held this past Tuesday, September 8, 2020 announcing Bethune-Cookman University officially lifted off of probation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

"Bethune-Cookman could not fail," said President E.LaBrent Chrite.

"Though fundraising will be especially critical, the reaffirmed status is the beginning of a new chapter," said retired Judge Belvin Perry, Jr., B-CU's Board of Trustees Chairman.

Students Frankie Saulsby and Jameko Clarke shared their expressions of hope, resilience, and relief for B-CU.
