Institutional Advancement Welcomes New Alumni Giving Coordinator

Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Antoinette is a 2016 graduate of Bethune-Cookman University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Effective January 2020, Antoinette joined the B-CU Institutional Advancement team as the Alumni Giving Coordinator, who brings a wealth of knowledge and a smile to light up the world.                             

With a background in marketing and logistics planning, in 2009, Antoinette returned to B-CU and was hired as Office Manager for the School of Mass Communications. Antoinette served many roles within the department including the co-director of the department’s annual stellar Massy Awards.

Antoinette also has a heart for community and advocacy, having served on the Juneteenth Family Festival Board and School Advisory Committees for Campbell Middle & Ormond Beach Elementary Schools. She facilitates several large scale events at Campbell Middle School, and is a Past Worthy Matron of the Int’l F. & A. M M. and O.E.S. Antoinette coordinates the festival logistics of the annual Juneteenth Family Festival in Daytona Beach, which is the largest festival celebrating Juneteenth in the state of Florida.

She is a loving wife of over 19 years to her husband Demond Sr., and mother to two phenomenal children Demond Jr. & Sydney. Antoinette is a hard working woman, who truly believes in her alma mater’s motto “Enter to Learn, and Depart to Serve,” and lives by her own simple mantra of "Whatever your job is, do your job well.”
