Bethune-Cookman University Presents Its Highly-Anticipated Annual Spring Concert on Sunday, April 5th
DAYTONA BEACH, FL. - The Daytona Beach and surrounding communities are invited to attend Bethune-Cookman University’s upcoming 45th Annual Spring Concert on Sunday, April 5th at the Mary McLeod Bethune Performing Arts Center (698 W. International Speedway Blvd.). The well-known Concert Chorale, directed by Dr. Terrance Lane and the Symphonic Band, conducted by Dr. Donovan Wells, will offer the community an evening of entertainment featuring a variety of musical genres from classical, gospel, jazz, and Negro spirituals; a staple of the Chorale, which also includes works from Renaissance to Contemporary.
The Spring Concert is a family affair; and is free and open to the public. Throughout the evening, B-CU will highlight the musical skills and talents of our students and directors; and demonstrate the high-level of faculty and student achievements, and university partnerships through a digital streaming telethon, BCUNITED Live World Wide.
President Chrite strongly encourages B-CU faculty, staff, supporters and the local community to attend one of the University’s premiere cultural events. Mark your calendars for the 45th Annual Bethune-Cookman University Spring Concert.
