Professor Chevelle Hall, PhD, had the pleasure of taking students from the B-CU College of Business and Entrepreneurship to Atlanta, Georgia, to visit her good friend, actor, Lamman Rucker. Rucker stars on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) award-winning show, Greenleaf, and has played several roles in Tyler Perry productions.

Rucker worked with Hall throughout the semester to allow her students to build a digital marketing campaign for his organization, The Black Gents of Hollywood. Students traveled to Atlanta and presented their plan to Rucker in person, where he organized an opportunity for them to meet with industry professionals and experience the business side of entertainment. Hall prepared the students with resumes and business cards.

While on the Greenleaf set, students met with the actors and production staff. They also visited Swirl Films, Crawford Media and Nina Holiday Productions. Rucker even wore the B-CU jersey gifted to him during his meeting with the students.
